The decision at the heart of it
Preserve a useful creature for the next shortage, or spend a shared nursery token to repair today’s circle. Each family controls the arrows it gives.
Tend a shared lantern garden through three public shortages. Every creature offers Light, Refuge or Nourishment and needs a different resource.
On your turn, keep your three creatures, change one behavior, or spend one shared nursery token to welcome a fixed-offer species. Then set or withdraw up to two of your own outgoing arrows. An unavailable offer can receive help but cannot give it.
Each Moon lasts two rounds. Earn its Harmony seal by feeding at least two creatures in every family and forming one directed circle that includes every family. Separate circles cannot be combined to meet the goal.
All three shortages are visible from the start, and each new shortage breaks the previous circle. Share a nursery budget of three tokens per family, preserve useful creatures, and earn all three seals for a shared win. Fewer seals means the shared goal was not completed; families do not compete for individual points.
How a game unfolds
- Tend, change a behavior, or spend one nursery token to welcome a creature.
- Edit up to two owned arrows from available offers to matching needs.
- After two rounds, earn a seal by feeding two creatures per family and making one circle through all families.
- Adapt to the next shortage and earn all three seals together.
